Petzl Paso Guide 7.7 mm is an half climbing rope that allows you various uses in climbing and mountaineering. The diameter of 7.7 mm makes it extremely light (40 g / m) and suitable for use as a twin or double rope. The treatments that Petzl reserves for this rope are the best you can find on the market. The big news is the UIAA Guide Dry waterproofing treatment, which impregnates both the core and the sock of the rope and makes it ultra-resistant to water, dirt and abrasion. Thanks to this Volta Guide has a water absorption of less than 2% according to UIAA tests. The other important treatment to which it is subjected is Everflex, the heat treatment that stabilizes the strands of the rope and makes it soft and compact to the touch, allowing a very effective and long-lasting grip.
